Dragging the image or layer around is useful for capturing portions of the original and manipulating it. The toolbox is the first thing you see when you open Photoshop. It has a lighgray gray background and a lightgray gray window.
Once you’ve opened Photoshop, you’ll see a window that looks like a screen that could be used to display a computer monitor. You start up Photoshop by clicking on its logo, a thin black and white circle or rectangle with an “X” button (if you’re using a Windows computer), and start customizing the toolbox and interface. Luckily, it has a user-friendly interface that is fairly intuitive. Photoshop is a complex software program, so it can be difficult for beginners to understand at first.
